Basis students leaving

If you have done your research, you already know the answer.

MacArthur is a Title I school where 89% of students are below grade level in math and 64% are below grade level in English.

No one is going to transfer from BASIS DC to MacArthur unless they can't handle the academics at BASIS, don't have a good in-bounds option, and can't get in anywhere else.

Basis high school is small and pretty heavy on APs/homework. MacArthur is still developing with students from Hardy still able to choose JR. There are probably some students switching to MacArthur for a less academically intense and more well-rounded experience.

I know one who decided to stay at basis (and not switch to walls)
