This happened to the DH of a friendof mine. It turned out he had early onset Alzheimers.

I would definitely have this assessed. He may be able to get disability.

I have a friend in this situation. Her husband is former military and just can't adjust to life on the outside. He's been fired repeatedly. She has nothing good to say about him, but stays with him anyway.

Sounds like one of my ex boyfriends. Once I realized he couldn't function if not in military environment, I got out of that relationship.

Inattentive ADHD. He needs meds. They will be life changing.

Gosh, this is terrible. I’m sorry. Not an ounce of grace from employer… was this his first time missing a deadline?

You will be surprised to learn so many useless middle managers earning their high salary doing nothing turn out fine.

Agree, is this your husband of 30 years or 5 years?

Or early onset dementia

OP, what do you mean you're at the end? Like you're going to leave him because of it? Was his ability to bring in a paycheck the only thing he had going for him? (I mean, yeah, those men exist.)

My husband has been fired several times. But none of the things he's been fired for are things that affect me. It's not for lying, or swiving the interns, or embezzlement. He just doesn't play well with others sometimes. But he plays great with me; we're very complementary. He has so much more value than a paycheck. And he's smart enough to make himself valuable to the household in non-monetary ways.

Could he have undiagnosed ADHD?

With all the tech available why isn’t he putting in deadlines, reminders, etc?

He should apply for a government job.
