Thank you for checking in, "Susan." I truly appreciate your compassion, and that of everyone on this thread. There has actually been some improvement since I posted. A couple of people have checked on me, and I do not feel as hopeless. Unfortunately, the family member with the medical emergency, while (mostly) physically well, is struggling emotionally afterwards. This is not at all typical for this person, and it is hard to know the best way to support her. |

Cam you make sure to get outside and get a little greenery and sun? I find that helps, even if it doesn't fix my problems. I had job troubles during the last recession. Laid off then got a job that was a bad fit. I quit before they could fire me because nothing I could do was good enough for them. Looking back, I decided if I was in that place again, I would try to do some more volunteering. That might not even require you to leave your house...but it's nice to focus on tasks of value to others and have a reason to leave the house. Best wishes.
