Well said. |
| Pipelines loss is BA and MDU gain |
| If any of the top pipeline girls go to MU, that team is going to be tough. |

2011
7-10-3 8th place 3 11s went with 2010s. Not sure how many went to MDU but SC and HC will get the best out of the 22 on that team hoping to piggyback on their Playoff appearance this year |
|
We went to tryouts this year for 2010s
Not a good team at all But 17 spots were already taken prior to the first tryout from players currently on team or offered prior to tryouts Seems odd for a team at their level unless it’s a money grab to make sure they have enough Coaches said you could earn a spot but likely to start on RL |
Maybe I misunderstood your post but: MDU 10-9-1, 31 points, and 6th in the league before the +2wins (2 losses removed) and + 6 points from PDA blue forfeits. Pipeline is not too far off. They had a +1 win because of the pda forfeits. If MDU had scheduled theirs fall game in the fall, pda blue would have won and recorded a Win there. Ukies remained 5th and MDU leaps over Ukies, because Ukies did not have any point added as they beat PdA blue in spring. It will remain that MDU went for post season, but let’s not pretend they earned it. Talking about piggybacking on post season appearance is a little strange to me, girls from pipeline know this. Prentending that MDU 2011 is going to compete against PDABlue, MFA, PF, Bethesda next year because they are going to San Diego this summer is crazy to me. Let’s add to this that Pipeline got there points with a roster of 12-13 players ( that is what I saw when my d’s team played these girls fall and spring), MDU had 18+ all season. As far as I can see pipeline 2011 and MDU 2011 compete for the same type of league ranking: try to get the 5th position. I cannot believe pipeline won’t have a 2011g in ECNL next year. What I saw is a nice group of young girls playing good, with a very positive attitude from coaches and parents. It would be a big disappointment. |
| I agree it would be disappointing, but I have yet to see anyone saying that those girls are staying. I am sure they will still field a team, but it would be difficult to expect them to be as strong, otherwise the new girls would have been on the team already. |
Whatever, all teams are blown up next spring anyway with age range change. Next year is like an extended pointless tournament that lasts until Dec., then the spring is a scrimmage. |
| Do we really think they won’t have a 2011 ECNL team? The RL team just moves up into ECNL. The local league team moves up into RL. They might not be a strong team for the level but they will have a team |
I guess the better question is - what does it take for them to get the badge removed? My D is a 2013 and the pre-ECNL pipeline team went 0-18-1 with a -86 GD. The future isn't exactly looking bright. |
Not much of a “pipeline” |
They aren't going anywhere. Their boys teams are doing well and one of the best on the east coast. They will keep the girls in the league. |
Like the 2010’s they are just fielding a team. They have at best 3 NL level players on the roster now, 2011 will follow suit. Bethesda will continue to eat from this and look out for MDU 2011’s may be at the beginning of something |
Let's not forget that the NA is one of the tougher divisions in ECNL. PF, PDA Blue, FC Delco and Ukies are all really good clubs. |
Slowwww down. They finished 6th and only made playoffs due to PDA Blue gifting it to them. Next year there are only 3 playoff spots. |
