| The 2011 team closed at pipeline with every girl leaving the program. Does the whole ecnl girls program then close? I thought clubs had to have teams at every ag for ecnl? |
| Why did they all leave? |
Pipeline boys keep them in. They will find new players. |
Were they even competitive? Everyone’s replaceable. |
| The girl’s side has always been far weaker than the boy’s. The irony is the founders and most of the board are girl dads. |
| Wow. The folded. Not everyone is after the badge after all. |
| Can't just fold one team in ECNL, they require clubs to field teams at every age U13-U19 |
This is one of those ECNL clubs that iamyouthsoccers data carefully skips over and theres more of these type of clubs than the ones that send players to top colleges. Keep this in mind when ECNL hats want to talk about the league more than the club their kid plays for. |
| Looks like a door just opened for all the NVA girls who bolted GA |
Hasn't happened yet. Likely wont happen. Sometimes you just let a sinking ship go down. |
| There are always players to replace a team. They’ll recruit travel and rec kids and Rush kids. They may not win games but they’ll field a team. |
this?! |
most of those Girls already have situations in ecnl. Rest Probably not gonna badge chase and drive that far |
| Can we stop saying “badge chase”? The girls that left tried to get on the most competitive teams they could. Thinking any of the GA teams in driving distance from NVA are better than ARL, VDA, Bethesda and even FVU is asinine. If there were GA clubs in the immediate area that could compete with those teams then I am sure many would have gone there. There isn’t, so their choice was not based on badge chasing but it was based on trying to be on the best team they could make. Grow up and stop assuming you know anything about their choices, you don’t know them and clearly you don’t know their motives. |
SQ's daughter aged out so he stopped caring about the girls side. SR's daughter doesn't play. The club just doesn't care about the girls side. Those parents were tired of being lied to and misled. |
