+1, I don’t even open Oberlin or Kenyon threads anymore because trolls who never has an interest in either have to let everyone know how much they dislike liberals |
"And I'm never Going back To my old school . . ." |
I noticed a recent update to their website that says they are going to start offering a small number of merit scholarships, average of $10K. We are planning to visit as I hear it’s a love it or hate it kind of place, but the music focus is a huge plus for us. I also like that they offer EA, not just ED. |
It’s where my kid is going! Hudson Valley is full of artists and writers, the campus is beautiful, and there’s a real commitment to ideas for their own sake. If your kid is an intellectual and not into Greek life, Bard might be a great fit. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dNt1FQg-BwI&fbclid=IwQ0xDSwLDEsdleHRuA2FlbQIxMQABHp8WJ-Q9AJL8IZmqvWpdksWdOSgR-x7T59_WGmKdKN7zKIMkPmqd0oKuLMjq_aem_1O_UFt986MhDKOCjs8FbNw |
To take this slightly further, I'd say that Bard's identiity is linked to that of the Hudson Valley. |
