One doesn’t get a bachelors from
Community college. Your family isn’t smart . A 22 year old getting married shows their lack of intelligence.

You haven’t described any real obstacles.

They’ve dated for a good amount of time to get to know each other. Their families are supportive. He has decent earning potential.

My good friend met her soulmate at 22, they didn't get married but moved in together within a year. They lived together happily for 20 years until he passed away from Cancer.

Moral of the story: Life is too short to NOT mind your own business!

I was 23. 40 now.

Similar age. We’re fine, normal, living our lives. Working, homeowners, still happily married.

DH had an interview for post grad years ago. He cited things I brought to the marriage, to our relationship, ideas and practices as a student, as really positive answers during the interview. He didn’t have to mention me, I mean that we both came together and improved our lives together. He makes me a better person. He supported me opening my own successful business. He predicted early that I would be a pushover parent, and he would hold the line. He’s right (I thought i would be the opposite!). And stricter is something our kids need.

The newlyweds are going to be fine.

I don’t know, but one thing I have figured out after 17+ years of marriage is that the problems we have had are not anything that I would have predicted.

That's a whole pitcher of judgement you just poured over people you probably barely know. The comment about her plain appearance and divorced parents is the little umbrella on top. It seems you have spun a whole Lifetime movie around this couple who are just starting out. MYOB and write them a check.

Also, is it possible you have confused a regional university with community college? Or do you not know the difference between an associate's degree and a bachelor's degree?
