Tina Smith looks incredibly weak coming out of this. There’s a picture of this senator telling Senator Mike Lee that his posts mocking the Democrats after this shooting were inappropriate, and he just waves her away like a gnat. Smith was like a meme of the “sternly written letter” that Democrats write when they get worked up about something.

Fact is, Senator Lee has nothing to worry about. This guy wasn’t coming after him. The killer was on his side. So why should he get upset about the Democrats losing control of the Minnesota legislature, when they shouldn’t have even had control in the first place.

If Democrats want to do something, go win elections. Don’t waste your time scolding Senator Lee for getting a chuckle out of an absurd situation.

By your logic, protesters should assume you are there to run them over and drag you out of the car anyway. Why are you driving into a protest?

60 year old women in pussy hats and people standing around singing Native American and holding “No Kings” signs threatens you that much? The snowflake mentality of beta C$ck MAGA men never fails to amaze me. Glad I married a liberal who is a real man and wouldn’t be terrified enough by peaceful protestors to… kill them. Really? I thought it was refreshing. It would have been easy for her to be a keyboard warrior and engaged in a Twitter war. It’s a lot harder to confront someone in person and and tell them they are out of line. She stood her ground, he tried to hide from her. Big, alpha on X. Scary snowflake when force to have a face to face discussion.

BTW— grownups should solve conflicts by talking. Dealing with conflict via tweet is something I work hard to keep my 12 year old from doing.
