Amalfi boat tours- what to wear

In the morning, put your dress over your swimsuit. Pack a pair of underwear, cotton bra in a plastic bag in your beach bag. Change in a changing room/bathroom if you need to feel dry - I sometime do.

My question is regarding attire. For those of you who have gone on these tours, did you wear a swim suit and coverup or wear regular clothes and then bring your swim suit? Are there places to change? My preference would be not to explore or eat in lunch in a restaurant in a wet swim suit, of course. Any advice is much appreciated.

If my teen son wouldn’t die of mortification, I just might.

Thanks for those that took the time to thoughtfully answer. I wasn’t asking whether to wear Prada or Versace 🙄, I was just asking what was appropriate to wear around town w/r to beachwear. All set.
