How did you catch your cheating DW/DH's texts?

Told me and thankfully it wasn’t passed on. At first tried to pass it off as not knowing how they could have caught it and have been from me but there was no way so I asked if they had sex with someone else and it took about a month but the truth slowly came out.

Who the heck knows how long text messages are kept for anyway? And who the heck would care? I get the woman is mad that her husband cheated, but I don't think he was an idiot for not knowing how long text messages are kept for.

The average person is not an idiot for not knowing this. The person who is actively deleting said messages to hide them from a spouse and cover an affair IS an idiot if they did not do their research.

I think in some (not all) situations - cheating spouses may intentionally want their spouse to find out they are being unfaithful for a magnitude of reasons. 🤦🏼

I feel like people with IPhones and IPads get caught more from technology than Android users from what I've read here over the years. They tend to accidentally sync up the devices more often. The get seeing the texts is a common theme. Just my observation.
