Parent friends vs kid friends

Occasionally in early elementary I’d still have a few moms I liked over (while the kids played) or maybe once or twice a year a small group of us would do an outing to the park or the zoo or pool or whatever. Usually in the summer. Otherwise- drop off all the way.

OP here. We are early elementary and most of the moms hang out with their kids. They all also attend birthday parties. Very few drop offs.
