Idk. I think there is definitely some air of entitlement exhibited by US players that trickles down to the YNT level. Like once some players have been invited to many camps over some years, they feel fine to skip out and prioritize club (and youth club?!?) over country.
Pay attn to some US rosters coming out soon w ECNL playoffs coming up. Some players (maybe influenced by club coaches…?) would rather go to club soccer playoffs. |
