They were always here, but who is going to inspire them next? Vance? Cruz? Rubio? DeSantis? Youngkin? They don't have a legit replacement.

They'll find somebody. Money is at stake. The rich ones who look like the walking dead (Thiel, Stephen Miller, Musk) want it that way.

The American voters said yes, twice.

Perhaps GC should throw his hat into the ring. Surely with his natural intelligence, he can win the presidency twice? Right?

All he said was that Trump is a celebrity and this is a cult of personality, and once the personality dies there won’t be a replacement. I don’t think that’s controversial.

That’s not controversial, but his arrogant and poorly timed NYT OpEd sure was. Some of us — me included — are still seething. NPm

This interview is just going to give more reason for Trump to deport his wife since she has been assisting with the Israel genocide case at the ICC

MAGA is a pack of hyenas who hate each other as much as they hate the libz. Look at them at each other's throats over the Big Beautiful Bill.

Why are you seething? Because he said what everyone saw?

MAGA came out of pain and anger. Agree Trump has a charisma to exploit sentiments to prop himself up. That does not mean nobody else can it just means he is super good at leading MAGA. He has a few more years so nobody know what will happen. Even if not MAGA, the sentiment behind it is scary enough if MAGA looks different but potentially worse as hard as it is to imagine. MAGA is a movement and it could die out or reinvent itself. The key problem is the anger and pain that drive it isn't addressed. MAGA won't fall apart it will take on a new form and we'll be roughly left in the same place. What so many people don't get is that Trump was not a 1 man show. He united a front and is leading them. The front existed before him.

No. MAGA will die with Trump and then you’ll have the GOP pretending they had nothing to do with any of it. Kinda like post-war Germany…….
