I’m a teacher with 7:30-2:40 official hours. Until recently, my gym’s morning classes weren’t early enough. They also don’t have classes available between 3 and 6 pm. I do a midweek 6 pm class and a Saturday am class, and I often do one more 6pm class. It’s not perfect, but I make it work. I like that the gym is close to home rather than to my work because it’s easier to go during the day on the weekends, random holidays, and the summer. |
Many teachers get an hour off for conference period also, so could get in a 30-45min exercise routine there if you needed more. Use the school's facilities, they always have a gym and other equipment. |
There's no way you're a teacher. Definitely not an elementary teacher. You're lucky if you can find 2-3 minutes to pee. |
What planet are you living on? You think teachers magically have 30-45 free minutes every day?? You're delusional. Yes, some high schools have nice gym facilities you could use before/after school but that's rare. |
Ha! Opposite problem a lot of the gyms/boutique studios near me have 5am-8am classes and then go dark until 4pm.
I WAH and an ideal class time for me is 9:30-10am. |
It seems like 5:30-9 would work just fine for your work schedule, no? |
Yeah let’s just say you’re a high school teacher with a school that has a gym. You cannot just dress out during your planning block and go into the weight room where the kids are having class to do your own workout. I know this has to be a troll but there’s so many levels of dumb to that entire comment |
This made me laugh. I haven’t had a free 45 minutes in over a decade. |
Not the OP but going during that time could potentially interfere with family time. For me, working out first thing in the morning has always been the answer. I don't use gym classes; I work out at home with a small set of various weights and follow videos from Fitness Blender. |
