Ozempic fatigue

Anonymous

For me the side effects like fatigue subsided after a few months.

It resolved when I changed the dose to much lower and added vitamins b12 and d3 and forced myself to do Pilates and exercise outdoors.

Make sure you are eating balanced. When I started I was so focused on getting my veggies and protein in that I was not eating enough carbs for the amount I move during the day (Pre-school teacher so I need the energy food also). Then I made sure I was getting enough of everythign and the fatigue was much much better

This. You need a balanced diet.

I think its similar to keto breath.

Gargle with baking soda in water a few times a day.

It comes from burps. The digestive system slows down and food, especially carbs ferment in the stomach. I cut out all carbs for an experiment and it is gone right away.

For me, the side effects in general were pretty rough, but I’m no longer pre-diabetic and reversed my fatty liver disease and improved several other markers of health, so it was worth it. I can’t imagine dealing with the fatigue, nausea, awful burps and bad breath, etc just to look slimmer. But to turn your health around when nothing else has worked, it’s worth it.

I have similar feelings. Side effects have been very challenging for me. I've lost 60lbs and have gone from an obese BMI to a normal one, which has been worth it. It's cured my sleep apnea, fixed my knee pain, eliminated a skin yeast infection completely, lowered my borderline pre-diabetes A1C, and I feel far less at-risk with regard to heart disease which runs in my family. I would never have lasted on this medication if it weren't for my desperate need to address health issues and get out of an obese BMI.
