Ozempic fatigue

How many months can it last? I need a nap daily. I wah so I do that instead of lunch. I’m exhausted.

Wait until the ozempic breath and ozempic face emerge. At least you'll be skinny.

Gargle with baking soda in water a few times a day.

It can be pretty bad.

I almost went off Wegovy because of it. I struggled with it to the point where I went to work and did nothing else for months. It started to lift about 5 months into my 0.5 dose (I stayed on that dose for 6 months). I've been on the med for a little over a year now, and still have some fatigue, but it is better. Much more livable.

I've lost over 60 pounds and gone from a BMI of 36 to one of 26. So for me it has been worth it. But it has been rough.

Is this true with the other weight loss drugs?

What "other weight loss drugs"? Most non-GLP-1 drugs are stimulants.

not the person you are quoting, but same question -- is it not true of other injectable weight loss drugs?

Maybe try adding some b12 shots. I don't know that I saw any difference, but I'm going through menopause and wanted daily naps for the past couple years anyway.

Take less of it and see how you feel.

I have not encountered this, on 1.0 wegovy. I have more energy than before. I do take a weekly b12 sublingual and eat 5 veg a day.

If you're losing over a pound a week, you're not eating enough which is going to make you tired. If you don't eat and lose weight fast, yes expect to be tired.

About 10 months into Zepbound, I just started keeping my weight stable and the fatigue decreased. I was needing a nap every day, too.

For me, the side effects in general were pretty rough, but I’m no longer pre-diabetic and reversed my fatty liver disease and improved several other markers of health, so it was worth it. I can’t imagine dealing with the fatigue, nausea, awful burps and bad breath, etc just to look slimmer. But to turn your health around when nothing else has worked, it’s worth it.
