Why are they leaving? I thought that team had been together for a while.

I heard their coach isn't staying with that specific team. The new NVA coach has lots of connections with local players because of futsal.

Doesn't Bethesda rotate coaches annually? Seems like fake news.

Is this just a day dream from ECNL dad? What on earth are you rambling about?

Most of the 2013 Coppermine kids and their coach are going to Pipeline. They are ranked #6 in the USA if you believe the Soccer Rankings app, so yeah, I would rank them higher than any other 2013 team for next year. Next are MLSN teams: SYC, Bethesda, Armour, NVA. And Arlington from ECNL.

What are you rambling about?

#6 in the USA....

Supposed to be no more than two years, but some parents, shall we say, are persuasive.

A 2013 ECNL RL team #6 in the nation bested by PA Classics pre-MLSNext. Loloolololol.

Thanks for the laugh.

Bethesda to NVA, seems like a hard commute.

A lot of VA players commute to Bethesda because of the exceptional coaching and top
Level opportunities. The top players for that age group were understandably there for one of the best coaches in the region today and have decided to depart because they are not as familiar with the new MLS next coach. The established coach is a magnet for anything he doe and what matters is he is staying at Bethesda, just not with that group. However the new coach seems amazing and we will be staying to see what he’s like- quality of coaching anywhere can be uneven and there are always unknowns but he is highly accomplished and like PP said MoCo to VA is a hard commute. It’s of note that kids that can’t make the top team at Bethesda do head to NVA, Alexandria, Achilles or cross the alphabet to Pipeline or Arlington. Bethesda is moving some highly skilled kids up and will attract top talent no matter what- their bench is pretty deep. They don’t move kids up or in without merit.

Couldn’t help yourself with that dig, huh? That says all u need to know BSC parents and the mentality they unfortunately pass on to their kids.

Bsc bench player at u12 going to NVA. The starters are staying at bsc. One kid is exception but he lives in Loundon and commutes to Bethesda, family is fixing that.

Then why have Alexandria and Achilles FC both been ranked considerably higher all season than Bethesda in U13 QoP, and why is Alexandria ranked higher in U14 QoP?

Bethesda was a power house for a very, very long time. But face it, Bethesda is quickly heading down the McLean route.
