Are vague communications a problem or not? What inspired your defense of the communication practices at Walls? |
A hit dog will holler! I have two children in DCPS schools as well (not Walls), and I rarely, if ever, receive general communication that does not mention the specific child. Especially not about something this important. |
Maybe our middle school teacher, who teaches all three grades in one specific subject, is not as superior in their communication as your teacher. And the teacher did send a general communication about unfinished assignments without specifying the classes. |
Well, that sucks for you. |
Well, I was actually genuinely feeling sympathy for your kid not making to Walls, but with this attitude of yours…..I hope you work on your bitterness and be a role model. |
+1 These two emails are sent to hundreds of people. The admissions coordinator is not sifting through to check the names of siblings who applied. This is not a private school. And no I am not defending thr communication practices of the school in general. This is a specific situation. |
Different poster. |
Any email system can fill in the student name in each email. You shouldn't have to go to private school for that. |
Exactly! This isn’t hard. |
Agree. Same experience here. |
