| First job out of school: 80k in 2001. Got laid off after 9/11 and took me a few years to get back to that level. Was making in the 130-150 range in my early 30s. |
Given that 35k in 1995 adjusted for inflation would be ~74k in today’s dollars it actually doesn’t seem they have that much. |

Age 35 in 2025: $152k (5% bonus) Probably would be a bit higher but I took a mommy track job after my first was born a few years ago. One of the better decisions I've ever made. |

I never made more than $15k/year until 2018, at which point I got $37k as a manager of a Starbucks (franchise), at age 32. I enrolled in graduate school, became a graduate assistant with a $750/month stipend, and graduated with an MBA in 2021. Here’s my stats (flyover country):
