Income during young (21-35)years?

For the 20-24 age group, it's approximately $39,104 annually. And for those aged 25-34, the median salary is roughly $57,356 annually. What's your experience?

My experience was that my first real job was in big law at 25, and it was well above those numbers.

30ks before 25, 60-90k after 25, 150k after 30.

Started at 50k and got an extra 5k every year.

Double your age in your 20s, triple in your 30s, quadruple in your 40s, eventually max out in your 50s.

in 2002 when I was Big 4 were were hiring at 50K fresh out of school. My two kids, one 23 and one 25 from average schools make 76k and 89k.

My first job when I graduated (2015), I made $45K. Ten years later I make $175K. Although I was thrilled with $45K back then

In 1997- I made 45K. In 2007- 140K. In 2012 I went to government and maxed out. I was stagnant until 2023 when I left for $300k. I am still behind in earnings because of federal service.

1993 - $26K
1998 - $45k with a career switch
2000 - $160K (high performer)
2003 - $200K

It then fluctuated between $130K and $180K due to mommy tracking.

DS just graduated at 22 and is making $85k

When I started work at 22 I made $25k, up to $60k at 30. An inflation calculator says that's equivalent to $57k - $117k

2000 (22) - $22k - $41k with inflation calculator
2003 - $35k, but included all living expenses
2006 - $48k
2012 (32) - $68k
2015 - (35) - $90k

Now at 47 I'm at $105k with a job change and time off.

My kid is 22 starting out at 80; how times have changed.

In 1999 I negotiated up to $35k to start at my first job in consulting at big 4. When My college senior was filing his taxes over spring break last month, we laughed because he had made that last summer at his first job which was a software dev internship.
