I love bread, pasta and cake but they hate me

I wish I could avoid bread and carbs. I’m prefisbetic, and slightly overweight (about 10 lbs). But I’m vegetarian, so it’s hard. I need to eat more protein. My go to’s are peanut butter, walnuts, lentils and beans. They still have carbs (except the walnuts). I do eat eggs, but maybe once a week for breakfast.

this is why i bake my own bread and bake my own cakes!

i am convinced that store bought bread and cake make me fat with all the extras they add
