If we don’t want mountains of regulation we should probably stop treating corporations and businesses like they are Gods and more important than the actual people and environment. Business is incentivized to make a profit at all cost and very rarely severely punished for the harm they do. When that paradigm changes so will the need for massive regulation. We can see this right now with ICE who is running around terrorizing folk. But what you haven’t seen or heard about is major fines on businesses. |
Basically yes. Turns out people like an effective nanny but not a nagging ineffectual one.
Clear and concise regulation that benefits people and isn't a victim of industry capture is a clear good. |

Thank you. Americans deserve better than big pharma forever meds. High time to pay some attention to the root causes and stop poisoning us. |
lol please show me an example of this “clear and concise” regulation that RFK is promulgating that benefits people. or even any republican agency head. |
So you were a fan of Michelle Obama? |
Stupid trumpies. I hate the idea of MAHA. |
Agree 100% ! What’s so great about being healthy ? |
Why can’t people just have the freedom to choose for themselves ? |
It's probably a fair criticism. I'm one of these "was liberal til covid" who fled a blue state and voted for Trump in a recent election. So the mythical demographic that democrats insist are a fiction. MAHA isn't something that would normally be associated with the right but there are a lot of people like me. I've met several people where I live now who escaped other places, mostly LA, and and are former liberals who are now MAHA. I mean, you're right that we aren't typical conservatives but we also don't belong amid democrats either. |
I love their effort to restrict unhealthy additives, but I know that it will never come to pass. None of their actually great ideas do. The only ones they manage to implement, for a little while, are terrible ideas. But yes, I'm all for limiting sugar, artificial ingredients, etc and banning carcinogenic pesticides that the EU has banned for a while now. |
Well MAHA earned their place in MAGA by shamelessly grifting. MAGA respects that but it's also why none of MAHAs serious proposals are going to happen. There's an ivermectin pusher on the vaccine panel now so everyone is going to have to rely on state vaccine committees. |
MAHA is removing a lot of your jerkwater regulations and democrat leftist financial incentives. Excellent progress. Burn it all down. |
“Jerk water regulations” force companies to keep poison out of our water, soil, and food, chief. |
