Shows with one (or two) crimes in a season?

True Detective - the first season is some of the best television ever. Season 3 and 4 (Night Country mentioned above) are also good. I heard bad things about Season 2 so I skipped.

Both of these seem really stressful, even if not gory (I thought True Detective was?). Am I wrong?
