| Just take it out of the fridge while she’s there and put in a drawer. Or put in a lunch bag and leave it at work. |
|
FFS, don't hide your medications from this person.
If she makes fun of you, glare. Seriously. Say nothing and glare. |
You have bigger problems than her making fun of your weight. Someone goes into my bedroom and looks around while I'm at work? They aren't going to have that opportunity again. |
| Wegovy can be unrefrigerated for 28 days, just stick it in the bottom of a drawer. I do this 365 days a year, because no one in my home knows I'm on it |
+1. She is going to know anyway once you start losing weight. Everyone will. |
| Well, if she makes fun of overweight people she’s an ass. You’re taking a GLP-1, you are overweight? If so, she’s probably already been a jerk about it. It’s your house. Your life. Your things. If she has an issue with it, she can leave. |
| Open pens can be left at room temp for 28 days. Unopened pens need refrigeration |
Is this really true? |
It should say on the box. But my semaglutide vials don’t require refrigeration…the wegovy pens can be left at room temp for a couple weeks as well. Don’t know about zep/tirz because I’m not on it. |
| You might be able to use a small lunch-box sized cooler with a blue freeze pack. Just change out the pack every 24 hours. |
+1. I'm kind of a hypocrite here because I'm on Zepbound and I don't own up to it to most people, but I think I'd draw the line with an in-law who is a guest in my home, snooping and then making fun of me. |

I would wrap it up well and then wrap in a plastic bag with tape and a big label “stool sample for doctor”. And leave in the fridge. Maybe “urine and stool sample”.
I also have a horrid MIL. |
Yes, you can confirm with your pharmacist |
| Just wrap it in a paper bag and tape it shut with packing tape. |
|
Wow, I would not have her in my house. Sorry. No one violates my own privacy in my own home. Get a mini fridge that can lock and hide it.
Otherwise your spouse is under the weather suddenly and she can't come visit. |
