The best u11 And u12 teams were participating in the state cup this weekend no need to add lower level teams

Loudoun girls were not there for u11 and u12. I still don’t know why

The U12 girls were at the ECNL showcase

Skipping state cup to support a league they’re not going to play in next year?

A lot of this stuff was set up many months ago. Also, yes the league makes you got to at least 1 event so I'm guessing they were essentially forced to go contractually.

No requirement for u12 teams to attend an ecnl event.

Not sure if it's "required", but I think it's required when you bring the 11s/12s.

I don't know the parameters of why we didn't go but we didn't mind not going after last year's weird bracket set up. Went undefeated, allowed 0 goals but didn't advanced based on total goals due to bracket set up. None of the teams on the other side of the bracket won a game yet someone obviously had to advance. Then the slap in the face was naming players from the winless side of the bracket as "defensive player of the tournament" when they got like 30 goals dropped on them 🤣

Better competition than VA state cup

I keep misreading this thread title as “real estate cups”.

Open houses must conclude before the final!

Thanks pal for letting us know how we’re all supposed to feel about state cups. I forgot everyone should feel the same way about everything and just like you.

Winning the state championship is shameful?
