It was somewhat rationale and well written until "club soccer mafia infrastructure".

You have no life . It’s just soccer . I don’t know if your kid didn’t hack it on the team or didn’t play that much but she’s probably soft like her parents . Soccer is a beautiful game that has so many levels and so many clubs . If you don’t like it then leave.

It’s hilarious how many people focus on BSC on here. Clearly another club.

you lost me at "the beautiful game".

So cringe.

I doubt anyone is losing sleep

But also don’t attack players
Literally have nothing to do with anything on this board that’s being said

“Beautiful game” is the globally recognized nickname for soccer. Just like “sweet science” for boxing

Nothing cringe about it except Americans not knowing that.

Bethesda B team played our club's top team a few weeks back and I had a very different impression than OP from what I saw. The Bethesda players were way more organized on the field and had much better control of the ball, passed better etc than our kids. The match actually made me upset about the lack of player development we see in our club. It looks like there are unhappy parents everywhere, but grass might not necessarily be greener elsewhere.

Glad to hear the second teams have the same philosophy as the first teams. Bethesda actually does a great job at teaching proper soccer despite all the complaints here (said as a DMV transplant who played them recently).

Didn’t take long for a soccer parent to start insulting children. Proud of your comment, I bet.

Honestly, the salaries are reasonable. I have a lot of friends and family who work in professional, semi-pro and club soccer. They work really hard are not there to get rich. The "you're just in it for the money" thing is a bizarre mentality that many parents have about a lot of professionals (teachers, coaches etc) that work with their children. It's silly.

Oh, I knew that. Doesn't make it any less cringeworthy.
