If Trump would take Greenland, we could turn the island into a massive prison. We could repurpose all the valuable real estate currently used to imprison people for something useful like Trump Theme Parks (next to his Trump hotels, of course).
Consolidate all the criminals into one place, a frozen wasteland that would kill just about any who tried to escape. |

Hear me out...these are just side quests that the real person or persons controlling Trump's puppet strings give him to keep him entertained.
It's like when I'd buy a new Lego set to give my kid on his day off from school when I was WFH. He was excited for new Legos, and it kept him busy and occupied while I was in my meetings. Or a better example, my father has dementia, and my mom is his main caretaker most of the time. Whenever she needs to get something done that requires concentration and no interruptions, like doing their taxes (she's a retired CPA), she gives him a project like testing his pen collection to make sure they still work. He loves "collecting" free pens from everywhere he visits and looking at them and writing with them can keep him busy for hours. Great distraction technique and it keeps his brain busy, too. |

And if Trump takes Vancouver Island from Canada, he can turn it into one huge Alcatraz. If any prisoners escape, Canada gets to see what it is like having criminals escaping into their country for a change. |
