Interestingly enough, driving up north to UMBC in the morning, there is hardly any bottleneck. |
? it has A/C. UMD also has a/c. What's with all these stupid false rumors. |
We did this last year for the RM graduation. It was perfect and I hope my younger kid also gets to graduate at UMBC. |
Nope. No rush. Everyone drives to DC. Going from MoCo to UMBC is a breeze. |
I wish our high school's graduation was at UMD. Much closer and way more parking than the hellscape of Constitution Hall in DC. |
WJ had graduation at umbc last year and each grad got six tickets. I’m told it’s the same number this year for UMD. The classes keep getting larger. WJ and Blair (the two biggest schools) are doing UMD same day this year. UMBC was a nightmare getting in and out of the campus. Hour plus waits. |
Agree with this. 9 am last year was easy. It just gets congested on the final stretch before the parking. If you have afternoon graduation though it will probably be tougher with one school leaving and other school is coming in. I hope my younger gets the morning session again when it’s his turn. |
UMBC and UMD are better than DAR. I don’t know why so many parents and students complain and want to travel to DAR and pay for parking… |
Drop to your knees and thank God if this is one of your big problems. |
Xfnity is Aplus luxury |
+1 Going to the DAR is ridiculous. |
This +1. |
It is cheaper to host graduations at outside venues rather than at the HS itself. |
With DAR, we could have metroed downtown and enjoyed a nice lunch or dinner. Instead we spent hours driving to/from umbc. |
