Same with Sherwood, what happen to DAR or the comcast center?

not everyone has a car, it way easier to take the bus or metro to DAR or UMd than UMBC

It was at UMD before, and there's AC and plenty of parking.

Have you ever been to Balitmore? I keep hearing people get robbed, my husband is scared of going there, he emailed the principal if they get robbed its the principal fault.

UMBC is in residential Catonsville, a suburb of Baltimore City. It’s very safe compared to the city.

I heard people say UMBC has no AC, so I’m worried UMD might also not have some.

UMBC definitely has A/C, lots of parking, etc. Apart from the distance, it's ideal.

Some high schools have their own seating, audio etc. When you have to get it from MCPS, the costs are excessive. And you have to use their vendors

OMFG. This tired debate again?
Stay home if you don’t like it.

UMD is a great location and especially convenient distance-wise for Blair. We always have to trek to Constitution Hall. My UMD grad’s ceremony was at Xfinity last May and it’s a great venue. Plenty of parking and of course there is AC. Plenty of bathrooms too. I’m crossing my fingers that my son’s graduation will be here in 2026 instead of Constitution Hall.

LOL, then why reply? You should be ignoring it then. Some of these parents probably aren’t aware of it.

I have not read the other comments but do you know how many students attend this school? Do you want to be limited to a max of 2 tickets per family? Churchill's is at UMBC. Be happy you don't have to go far.
