Everyone, men and women, are socialized to find women sexy. While only women are socialized to find men sexy. In fact, men are socialized to NOT find men sexy -- big taboo. So the only men who would be attracted to other men are probably actually just gay and taking baby steps toward accepting it.

There are massive numbers of bisexuality women in monogamous marriages with men. This is so common.

OP's feeling is understandable. He could be the best boyfriend ever, yet he might not be a good enough "girlfriend" to her.

Women are better than men on certain things (EQ for an example), and he cannot compete with that.

+1 Bro, chance of a lifetime, find a pool or beach and have a summer fling.

When you think about it, there's not much difference between giving up relationships with one gender or two. If you got married, you'd be agreeing to stop having relationships with any other women, right? Well she'd be agreeing to stop having relationships with both men and women. It's not that different.

That said, I will say I know one bi woman in a hetero marriage where it *is* an issue, and they are open and the husband would probably not choose an open marriage but for the bisexuality issue. But in this one instance, I also suspect the woman has a personality disorder, and that is a much bigger source of their marital issues than her bisexuality. Like I think if she were just hetero but otherwise the same person, she'd still be pushing for an open marriage, it's just that she'd have to admit to herself that the reason why is that she is easily bored and requires a lot of attention, not that she simply cannot go through life without sleeping with both men and women.

So I guess my advice is -- don't write her off because of the bisexuality, but also don't let the bisexuality obscure other issues, whether they are commitment problems on her part or just a general mismatch in values.

Great comment. Totally agree, especially with the final paragraph.

Bisexual women almost always end up married to men and living normal domestic lives.

I’d be concerned about her personal beliefs, politics, ideas on family and household, and things like that that she’s likely coo coo about before I worried about her being secretly on the rebound from women.

Men are very promiscuous and get STDs

So are women.

There are a lot of misconceptions about bisexuality, honestly from both sides. Being bisexuality doesn't mean you're more promiscuous or want threesomes. It doesn't mean you're attracted to everybody, it just means gender isn't part of what limits your attraction to someone.

And men who claim they can't satisfy a bisexual woman, you guys are just telling on yourself that you can'tplease women at all. Plenty of straight men understand how to please women.

Nowhere near the same level. I could hop on grindr and find gay dudes to blow me or more within the hour.
