Same and we reuse the plastic laundry bags for the next trip unless the clothing was wet or really dirty. |
I put it in my suitcase so the dirty clothes don't touch the clean ones. |
1. Everyone shares luggage and you pack by location, not by person. So a suitcase for City A, a suitcase for City B, etc.
2. Everyone has their own dirty clothes storage - a laundry bag, a packing cube, whatever. |
We put out dirty laundry in a pillowcase when we travel, that’s how I grew up. When possible (ie cruise or condo/home rental), I like to do laundry during the trip and come home with all clean clothes. That is the best. |
I have a bag made out of light tightly woven sail cloth that I carry for dirty clothes (bc it packs down really small), but I also always take a plastic bag in case there’s anything that’s really wet or dirty (there’s usually one in the hotel closet, too). If you really don’t want to put a bag of dirty clothes in with your clean clothes, you could pack a collapsible duffel. |
We try to stay at a hotel with self serve washers and dryers. |
The trash bag goes inside of your suitcase to keep your clean laundry separated from your dirty laundry. No one but you knows it is there. Sheesh! |
It is still shocking to me that people as clueless as pp walk the earth. How do you get to be an adult traveler and not know people use plastic bags for laundry???? |
I bring a big laundry bag and everyone throws their laundry in.
If we move locations, and we're flying/taking the train, I typically put all of DS2's packing cubes into DS3's luggage and then use DS2's luggage to store the laundry. If we're driving, I just throw the laundry bag into the trunk of the car. On the way home, if there is too much laundry for one suitcase, I consolidate suitcases and fill the empty ones with laundry. There are few things more satisfying than just dumping the entire suitcase into the washing machine when we get home. |

I use it for bathing suits but you could use it for laundry too. It’s waterproof |
Beg to differ. Enjoying my vacation without doing laundry is the best. Laundry happens when I get home. |
