McLean 2013 Girls Tryouts

Those tryouts were for the top GA teams. Current tryouts are for the teams below GA1.

Well then I highly doubt any MYS 2013 green or white team players were there. Most of the green team players went to Union (a handful scattered to other ECNL clubs). The white team is pretty good for a second team, so it's hard to imagine its players haven't already landed on a GA team, particularly given how many GA teams there are. I would expect the MYS Aspire team to be filled mostly with MYS gold team players and some second team players from other clubs.

Curious if you were from another club or current McLean team. A bunch from our club were there.

Wait for the dust to settle. Arlington has their 2013 next week. Every season there's so much movement during tryouts and summer time.

Teams are somewhat preset. Coaches know a good portion of the kids they already want and those kids get offers the day after the first tryout. That's pretty common at all clubs. My kid has always gotten an offer after the first day (not bragging just sharing info) while I know other kids who get it after the second tryout. It's really about the coaches and how they think of their roster.

Lots of speculation here. You don't really know, do you.

For those that were there, there were around 60 kids trying out and there were some skilled players... Some from Valor, some from Arlington, and others. McLean will also be fielding a white team, so to say that Green will be composed of lower level players sounds like sour grapes

Now that tryouts have concluded, does anyone know if there will indeed be a 3rd team for this age group? Have all offers gone out?

So, with the current U12G Green team most likely moving on to other clubs, does that mean most of the U12G White team would have been selected for top GA team? Or, were there a lot of players from other clubs trying out, as well?
My dad received an offer for U13G Green, but trying to figure out if she should just stay out, if the talent around her isn't any better.
