Which W school is better?

You're new to the area and already posting on DCUM about W schools?

Sure.

Sure.

I already browsed this website before on the off-topic forum, and doing some research these past few months, I’ve heard of the W schools being the best schools. That’s why I wanted to ask here, from actual parents.

All are good.

I have a child at Whitman and it has been great. Well behaved and motivated peers, challenging classes if you seek them out, and lots of engagement in extra curriculars. Hard to compare since I only know one school but I think Churchill is similar. WJ seems too big and over crowded.

OP do not listen to this goobleygook

Catholic schools are no where near as good as public.

From college admissions to science and math curriculums.

The best high schools in MCPS are the magnet programs at Blair, Poolesville and Richard Montgomery.

Sure, and why Whitman? Because your school is always on the top 3?

Having 4-6K a month for rent by no means you have the cash to purchase a 700 or 800K townhome are you serious?

If you can spring $6K a month, you can get into a townhouse or even SFH in Montgomery. An $800K mortgage at 6.41% interest is $4K. This requires a 20% down payment. If you don’t have that, the interest and monthly payment will be a little hire but still doable.

7% annual of 800K is under $5K/month, and Germantown townhouse is under $600K.

Everyone is lying to you because they don't want you at their school

There are places to rent in WJ that are less than the 4-6k referenced above.

There is currently a listing in the Parkside newsletter for a 3/1.5 $2450 including utilities, parking, and pool.
