Everyone has a handout these days - we have slashed our spending but it feels like everything is more and more money. It's a big bubble - it doesn't help that so many businesses have consolidated under private equity corporations - but hopefully the sharp decline in government spending will lead to lower prices. I have doubts but maybe...

We make $550K per year and our entire family of five shares a single car: 1995 Saturn SL1. Youngest takes the bus to school, but two older kids drive DH and I to work, drop us off, then head to HS together. They pick us up in the afternoon each day.

Just can’t afford the payments, insurance, and personal property taxes on multiple vehicles…and definitely nothing new. MAGA has destroyed our finances.

It feels like grocery and food prices have increased to the point we are no longer comfortable with buying our usual… I have started price comparison shopping and changing our meals and the ingredients we use.
