There are policy reasons why this is a bd idea. For anyone who thinks more than 5 minutes ahead, we can imagine that this will deter other people who are undocumented from ever coming anywhere near the courthouse, even if they are a vital witness or for some other innocuous or important reason.

ICE is always ready to come snatch people from anywhere at anytime but wiser heads know that discretion should be used. Except now there are no wiser heads anywhere in the federal government, restraining ICE from their base instincts.
