Best Clothing Brands for a Chubby 2T/3T?

Old Navy always fell of my skinny kids, so maybe there?

Children's place is enormous on my skinny toddler. I have a bunch of hand-me-downs that I'm trying to figure out if I can even use!

LOL. We have the same problem. My 23-month-old daughter is a 3T in shirts (to cover her giant belly) but 3T pants are crazy-long on her because she has short legs for her height, and 2T pants are often tight. For a boy, you could buy the Carter's cargo pants that you can roll up and button at the hem - we had a few pairs of those last year. (my daughter now refuses to wear structured pants and will only wear dresses, skirts and soft knit pants or leggings. argh.) We've had decent luck with Circo (Target) and Carter's.

My son was chubby at 2T, and short legs run in our family. I had the best luck with the elastic waist pants at JC Penney. The Okie Dokie brand was what we used.
