I had replied nicely to you, but now I see that you’re a totally unhinged ahole. So typical of a CYA parent. I have one kid in rec and one in travel because different things make sense for different kids. Sorry you don’t have any children who are athletic enough to want and need a higher level of training and competition in a sport. Sounds like that bothers you.
Anyway, hope your kid’s team breaks up. |
DP Assuming a rec player is somehow less athletic than a travel sport player does indeed means you have an elitist complex. You know nothing about that parent’s kid(s). Ironic you can accuse someone of being an “unhinged ahole” |
Please. OP clearly cares enough about kid soccer to be posting here about something that wouldn’t even be on their radar if they weren’t invested. Rest assured OP wishes her kid was good at soccer and is feeling insecure about it. The parents of actual athletic children who just aren’t interested in that level of commitment aren’t out there trying to put other parents down. They’re just living their lives happy with their decisions. |
LOL, it's cute when people get defensive. |
Except here y'all are, being a-holes to a rec parent and insulting them. |
A hysterical rec parent. The solution is easy, if age groups change and your dd's friends want to play up have at it. For the rest of the kids that are tired of playing up with a grade above them and finally get to play against those their grade woohoo! It's rec is not a big deal. |
Thanks travel parent for the condescending advice. I hope your $5,000 on your DC’s 4th team is worth it. |
