Is CYA switching to grade over birth year?

We’ll be sad, my daughter is on a team she loves with kids from her grade and one grade younger from three different schools. It’s a lovely group of kids that have mostly been together since 1st grade. Will they be split upon the fall?

Have you emailed CYA?

I don’t think the age group change is going into effect until the following fall. If the team wants to stay together I think the younger girls could just elect to play up an age group. I would not worry about this right now.

Dylan you were a grade A clown 8 years ago… you’re still a grade A clown 8 years later. It’s embarrassing you have offsprings

CYA only has rec soccer. They don't have travel.

Probably the rec leagues will switch back to school year as well eventually.

I know that CYA only has rec soccer you idiots. I was wondering if the rec leagues are going to go the same way as the travel leagues you losers are so obsessed with. Excuse me for having children and not being obsessed with having them succeed in a sport that they have ZERO PERCENT change of actually making it in, LOL. You fools and your massive waste of money, LOL!!

Oh. You must be an elitist because your kid plays travel. How dare a lowly rec parent post concerns about their kids.

I would suggest the younger ones ask to play up a year so they can stick together (if the switch happens).
