How to handle co-ex gatherings?

In my county we do not allow such things at this age.

I have a 17 year old, and don’t know if she was unsupervised in co-ed environments at 14. At seventeen, of course she is. I don’t remember quite when that transition began happening. It’s best to raise teenagers who can handle themselves in all situations as they will come up with time. For example, what is your exact concern? That she will have sex with a random boy?
