ASA GA Blind offering players

Anonymous
Yes, auto-generated offer letters occur sometimes, even when kids never attend tryouts.

Technical oversight.

OP, let us know if you kid got on the team or if they sent a follow-up 'oops' e-mail?

Bogus - ASA would never 'blindly' send out offers esp to an ex-player.

4K is not that steep. 4K includes futsal in the winter.

Prove it. I've received emails from ASA which were sent to me by accident. It's possible this happened here. However, if it was a mistake that doesn't make it a false claim.

I believe this if it is 08 or 09 players- they need to fill rosters.

Why are they including futsal for the GA players? Where will they have the time to fit it in when both GA and ECNL national platforms play all year round? I get their passion for Futsal but that should be a different entity under ASA. Their soccer coaches should be focused on that and not take the winter off to go work on futsal training and tournaments. Have a separate set of coaches for that and get kids interested in that specific program instead of forcing it upon those just interested in soccer.

There are plenty of teams that do this, and most of the top level players play futsal in the winter.

Alexandria has already scheduled its GA teams to train on a 10-month schedule. The GA players do not take the winter off. Instead, they continue weekday trainings, league matches, and winter tournaments between the fall and spring. The players can also add 1x week futsal with some futsal games to get extra touches, but GA continues from early August 2025 through mid June 2026. Does this help?

This will be a mess just like last time.girls not going to regular practice and instead going to futsal even with a game coming up. Then parents will complain about weight training not being included and Tommy boy will find someone else besides himself to blame.
