What other degree options are out there for Government type jobs for guys?

He's a good problem-solver, great persuasive writer, very social. Not interested in Sales.

International Affairs or Public Administration. My son is looking into these two.

Because the Boy Mom! identity never goes away.

NP. Maybe it's because people discriminate against men who seek stereotypically female jobs.

And there's equal-opportunity dumping on humanities majors here - anyone who isn't setting out on a known path to high salaries.

Boy mom is a toxic label that you and others are crystallizing into something real by mentioning it all the time. More fuel for gender bashing, yay!

My kid is majoring in Economics. He will have to take Calculus. May pair it with statistics. He is also considering switching to finance.

Also, has an interest in public policy.

This is it. Temple has a certificate for statistics in the social sciences for this purpose. Other schools have similar courses.

I think that you missed the point of this thread. Majoring in "sales" will not lead to a career in either law or accounting.

I was in the intelligence field in the military. My colleagues who had the easiest transitions to civilian government jobs tended to be good at at least one (preferably 2 or 3) foreign languages.
