And that's okay. It happens. The GOP has been very unpopular at different times in history. Both parties have had to evolve.

But one thing's for sure: when Trump gets done with this country, everybody except the crazies will have FLED the GOP, which is now Trump's party and bears little semblance to the GOP prior to Trump.

It was mostly about getting richer people richer but with a side helping of racism. The problem is that there are cult members that will scream themselves horse in his defense just so that they can crawl penniless through broken glass to watch him play another round of golf on the taxpayers dime. We just have to accept that those people exist and try to reduce what’s left of the GOP.

A win is a win. Just because you lost by less doesn't make it any less of a loss. Also, how much did you spend on those races as compared to the Republican, only to still lose?

What DCUM often misses is that many voters of either political ilk think like the people on this site nor they as die-hard. There is a significant number who move back and forth and/or split their votes.

The Democrats have to do everything to help Trump do poorly on the economy (politicians don't care about the people, they care about votes and their own power). If their plan works, they will sweep the mid-terms. God help them, if Trump's moves actually reduce debt and move the economy upwards by mid-terms though.
