I am a Christian but I do believe some of us have lived before. I think there are things we can't understand.

I feel like I fought in the Red army during WWII. Ever since I was a child and I see scenes of the Russians fighting, I would tear up and become emotional.I visited a concentration camp in Germany that mostly housed Russian prisoners of war. I had this feeling of being there before standing in the same spot.

Does anybody have any weird birthmarks or scars? I have this birthmark on my rib cage on my left side. Supposedly this may mean that I was stabbed or died in battle. My daughter has always had a cage au lait spot on the back of her neck. Supposedly this means she was beheaded which kind of creeps me out.

Are you saying that it is not Christian to believe that you've had a past life? That you're going against Christian doctrine? I'v never heard any Christian leader even mention past lives.

I am Catholic. Christianity does not believe in reincarnation. I am just an open minded person. I think that there is strong evidence to support reincarnation.

It’s too consistent for it to be his imagination. Especially since he started saying these things at the very early age and continues now. Does he talk about other imaginary things, not related to his past life? I would be inclined to believe him.

You can read up about it, I think there are some studies and sometimes those memories can be accessed by the state of deed hypnosis. But be careful, there are a lot of pseudo evidence too as I think some people are just trying to draw attention.

I think you kid is telling the truth.

My, now 15 yo, son used to cry whenever we said his name. When he learned how to talk, he'd say, "I'm not [Larlo]!" and cried. He did this fairly consistantly until he was around 5. I once asked him what his name was and he said he couldn't remember.

I think you’re all gullible.

No one really said what this means or if it has any implications. Even if it is the active imagination of a bright child, the emotions are strong. How would you handle it?

Certainly from the standpoint of the Catholic Church, OP is a heretic.

DP
Weren’t the followers of John the Baptist
Speculating about his reincarnation?
Reincarnation is mentioned in the Bible but not as the main theme.

They told me that if I believed, confessed my sins, and loved my neighbor, then I would receive everlasting life. Now I got to go through all this shit again? Tell the pope I want a refund!

Maybe there was some false advertising about what "eternal life" actually means? You wanted life, you got life.

That is interesting, OP. When I was a young kid, I had a recurring dream about what I would describe as being in utero. I had no context for it at the time and couldn't explain it, but I knew that's where I came from.
