Three and a half days each way. What’s the problem?

We did NH and VT with dogs last summer. Fabulously dog friendly hiking, paddleboarding/kayaking/swimming for the kids.

It was a long drive, but a wonderful trip. We stayed in Wolfeboro and Conway in NH and Burlington in VT. I think we spread it over 12 days.

How could 9 hours be a long drive? You must not be a road tripper!

Sure but pick one if you actually want to get out of the car.

I'd go Adirondacks or coastal Maine.

DCUM: NH/VT is a long drive

Also DCUM: Montana and back when you have a week is reasonable

Would love more details on your trip! How/why did you pick those locations in NH?
