Yes, a number of white people played a key role in helping black people escape the horrors of being enslaved by other white people. This is not news.

MAGA might want to rethink this one - it might remind people that in the past, whites with integrity and values helped people that didn’t look like themselves, sometimes at great personal cost. All because of that empathy thing.
