Do your kids take a bath every day ?

I think it’s a nice bedtime routine, although I suspect at some point they’ll transition to mornings for better hair? I have an early school aged one and a toddler, so maybe this will change as they get older, but I truly don’t understand how people don’t bath daily because my kids are FILTHY at the end of the day. So much outdoor time, so much food gets all over them, maybe they’re just exceptionally messy?

I’m the 2x a week poster. Cleanup after meals is pretty intense (in a way it prob wouldn’t be if we were every day bath people). Hands and faces get scrubbed after meals. In general we do a LOT of handwashing. And clothes are def dirty at the end of the day. But beyond that, not really.

Prob one additional time a week in the summer I’ll notice some visible dirt on an arm or leg and wipe it with a baby wipe.

5 yo boy every other day, every once in a while going for three days. Baths always after the pool and the beach.

My kids are a bit older, but they shower 3x a week.

No. Every other day, unless they got pretty dirty. Only wash hair 1-2 times a week. My kids also have sensitive skin and the derm suggested skipping daily bathing, particularly in the winter.

3 and 5 year old here. They get a bath every other day October- April. From about May-June it is every day because they usually wear sunscreen, play in the sandbox, go to the pool, etc.

Yes of course.

Yes. The protocol for eczema includes daily baths and occlusives. Soap is optional and hair washing about 2x week.

My daughter is bathed everyday with a mild soap. She’s an infant and gets very dirty by the end of the day from diapers and spit up. We also use tubby Todd and her skin stays well moisturized and clean. Also, I’m just going to put this out there: people know if your kids are not getting regular baths. You might not notice but other people do. Most people develop an odor and other signs of uncleanliness pretty quickly. Your kids are not an exception.

We do a bath every day for my preschool kids, but only use soap and shampoo a few times a week. My kids are stinky by day 2 bath on the rare occasion we skip a bath because we’re out late or whatever it may be.

Yes, my kids bathe daily and have since they were newborns. I’m sorry your kid doesn’t like water! I bet that’s difficult. All of my kids adore baths/swimming/water so it’s never been a challenge.

The kids without a daily bath are the ones with the permanent crust under their noses and dirty fingernails. Please don’t make your kid that kid.

Baths everyday unless they’re truly inside the house all day which is rare. We very very rarely have illnesses (as in my oldest kid has been actually sick twice in his life, my youngest once).

Yes. Everyday.

Bath 4 out of 7 days depending if we have time before bedtime. DS loves the bath and our freestanding tub at least gets great use!
