Thanks. I thought the deposit was effectively the enrollment agreement.

The deposit and contact date are when you agree to enroll, but most schools offer a grace period (often to June 1) during which you can cancel the contract and lose the deposit without owing the rest of the tuition. After that date, you owe the full tuition even if you break the contract.

Is the SJC agreement available on the portal? We paid the deposit but never received an enrollment agreement via snail mail or e-mail.

You will see the agreement when you enroll (due by this Friday). You can review it before signing/agreeing to it. You can open it, review it, and go back to it later to sign if you want time to digest the details. After signing, a copy is sent to your email.

You should have received an email with a link and instructions to enroll and access your agreement.

And for SJC there is a link within your application to decline your offer which is still open.

if it’s an ADW school, there may be more flexibility, especially if a parent loses their job. I was told by someone at ADW that canceling midyear was up to the school’s head.

They don't send it to both parents.
