Easter Menu help!

Maple syrup is spring so I would keep the maple butter. Switch out the ribs for ham or lamb. Corn on the cob is odd.

Do you ever use the Pancake Princess’s recipes? She has some beautiful spring cakes including a classic coconut cake. Here’s a link:

Key lime pie instead Op

Echoing other so I won't repeat.

Also, who are you serving? Adults? Small kids? Teens?
5 people vs. 10 people?

My kids and grandparents! Neither eat ham or lamb. We made a gorgeous ham last year and I threw away so many leftovers so was planning on doing smoked bbq- either a brisket or ribs because my kids will eat it. We have lamb chops once or twice a month and I just make the kids a separate dinner

I decided to smoke prime rib instead. All the sides are the only vegetables my children will eat and a salad for the adults.

The coconut pie was the one clear winner (sans the chocolate)

Make a big frittata with some herbs (chives, chopped scallions, basil), halved cherry tomatoes, asparagus, whatever you like. You can cut it into squares for serving.

An omelette? In this economy?!

Pick one of the crab dip and the spinach artichoke dip - don’t need both.

It the kids and grandparents won't eat ham or lamb, do a roast chicken or salmon or something. Smoked barbecue makes zero seasonal sense for this meal.

NP. Now I’m double guessing my menu. Also planning for my kids and the grandparents.

Ham
Cheesy potatoes
Green bean casserole
Rolls
Baked beans
Deviled eggs

Relish tray
Fruit/veggie tray
Cheese and crackers

Strawberry poke cake
Lemon bars

Is it weird not to have any chocolate dessert? I figure the kids will be eating chocolate bunnies all morning anyways.
