Would you visit England this summer?

I am visiting England this summer. I am worried about a number of things related to traveling—air travel safety, having to talk about Trump, scrubbing my phone of memes and apps I wouldn’t want to have to show to CBP—but I’m not worried at all about being in England.

I went mid March. No fear or issues, other than, as a PP noted, my original flight being cancelled due to technical issues only AFTER I had been sitting in the plane for an hour at midnight.

I'm also traveling to the UK in June. However, I'm on a 10-year green card. Should I be worried?

Have you posted stuff online in support of Palestinians?

I just read that the EU is urging citizens to stockpile 72 hours worth of supplies due to war risks. This is making me rethink the trip. Would you feel safe going to the UK this summer? I know there are bigger things to worry about but I’m rethinking my plans.

What is the nature of your concern?

I would also make sure you can prove that you are an American citizen and " loyal" to Trump on the way back

Yes, the UK has always had the advantage that you can't drive tanks across Europe directly to it.

I don’t suppose anything. But the EU is urging citizens to stockpile 72 hours worth of supplies due to the situation between Russia and Ukraine.

The UK is outside the EU.

Excepting Ireland and Iceland and Greenland, the rest of the EU has a land connection to Russia.

Not clear one could return to the US. Sounds brave to leave the US and gamble on whether Trump will let green card holders back.

I am a white US citizen and don’t post political things on social media. So yes we are going and not too worried.

Yes. No matter what you have posted on social media.

My brother lives in the EU and I'm not letting Trump keep me from my nephews.

The fact that all these facts matter (your dace, citizenship,
And lack of speech) is chilling even if I understand why you feel that way
