Yeah, they are gross animals to eat. Still though, I wouldn't torture an animal, gross or not.

Didn't know SNL was still around. It was pretty funny in the 80s and early 90s, but stopped watching it after that. Figured it would have been long gone by now since it was considered a "boomer show" 20 years ago.

For lobster tails, cut a slit in the top of the shell and separate to expose the meat, add butter and old bay and broil for 3 minutes. Remove meat from shell and use; I usually cut it up for lobster roll filling or decadent mac and cheese

Not that I ever have handled live lobster, but was told head first into boiling water kills them instantly

I do head first into boiling water. You have to let them cool a minute anyway, so cool them on another plate and then transfer. There isn’t much water. And they are delicious!

We stream it and eat it with melted butter, lemon, garlic and parsley. Yummy !
